Curve Dental Rolls Out Voice-Driven Care+ AI Suite

16th July 2026

Curve Dental has launched Curve Care+, a voice-driven clinical AI suite embedded natively in its cloud-based dental practice management platform. Announced on 15 July 2026, the release introduces three AI-powered tools (Notes+, Charting+ and Perio+) designed to reduce clinical documentation burden and free clinician time for patient care. It is now available across the United States and Canada, extending Curve Dental’s broader Curve+ AI Suite strategy.

Notes+ ambiently captures clinical conversations and drafts provider-ready notes in either SOAP format or the practice’s own templates. Charting+ lets providers update the odontogram through voice commands as they call out conditions and tooth statuses. Perio+ allows hygienists to complete periodontal charting independently using voice commands for pocket depths and conditions. All three tools sit inside the existing Curve platform, avoiding the bolt-on integrations and third-party dependencies that typically fragment clinical workflows. Providers can also capture voice notes on the Curve Mobile app for use outside the operatory.

Early users have reported saving more than four hours of daily documentation time, with perio exams completed around 50% faster. Suzanne Henderson, Chief Technology Officer at Curve Dental, framed Curve Care+ as a practical response to the documentation burden faced by dental teams, and as the next step in a broader strategy to build purpose-built intelligence across clinical, financial and patient engagement workflows. The launch positions Curve Dental to compete more directly with practice management incumbents Dentrix and Eaglesoft (both part of Henry Schein One), which have been slower to build native AI documentation into their platforms.

The commercial signal is voice-driven ambient AI becoming table stakes across dental practice management. Curve Dental’s native embedding strategy places it ahead of competitors relying on third-party AI integrations, and the reported time savings tap directly into practices’ most pressing operational constraints. Expect Dentrix and Eaglesoft to accelerate their own AI roadmaps through 2026 as competitive pressure builds.
