Working at Zenopa: a sense of accomplishment and fulfilment
Gaining a sense of accomplishment, feeling proud of the work you do, helps people feel like they’re progressing in their work. An accomplishment feels like making a positive step forward for yourself, your company, your clients and your co-workers.
Zenopa asked Medical team Resourcer, Jane Whiley, to share what a sense of accomplishment and fulfilment at work means to her.
“I took a part-time Masters in Human Resource Management alongside my Resourcer role at Zenopa 2018-2020. It was a really versatile qualification for dealing with hiring, talent management, employment law and general business skills and so dovetailed with my candidate-facing role nicely. Zenopa were hugely supportive of me undertaking my studies from day one and many of my colleagues generously gave up their time to be interviewed and surveyed by me for my final year research project on Gen Z recruitment. Although it was challenging at times juggling work, studies and the challenges of lockdown and home-schooling as well, I was delighted to be awarded CIPD Student of the Year Award 2020 and receive a distinction for my degree. I have since been given a unique opportunity to apply my research project learnings in-house at Zenopa to develop a suite of marketing assets for a Gen Z internal project working alongside the MD, of which I am incredibly proud. I feel very accomplished and fulfilled to not only work for an organisation that recognises people’s potential, but which proactively encourages and sees the value in supporting them on their self-development journey end-to-end.”
