Zenopa listed in top 25 best small workplaces 2013
Zenopa took part in The Great Place to Work® survey for the second year and has achieved 23rd place in the top 25 best small workplaces 2013.
“Zenopa has always been a great community of fantastic people to be with, but the leadership needed a step change to move Zenopa towards being a Great Place to Work®” said Mark Denton, managing director.
The Great Place to Work® Institute defines a great workplace as a place where you:
‘achieve organisational objectives with employees who give their personal best and work together as a team or family, all in an environment of trust.’
They go on to say there are three key elements of a great workplace:
People trust their management
Have pride in what they do
Enjoy working with their colleagues
Everybody at Zenopa has been making small changes to our environment, it’s great to see we all feel it’s made a difference for us.
The Great Place to Work® assesses organisations using two tools; an employee survey – the Trust Index© Employee Survey – and a management questionnaire – the Culture Audit© Questionnaire.
The Culture Audit© examines how management creates trust in the workplace through various policies, practices and initiatives.
The Trust Index© Survey measures the employee’s perspective of how effective those HR efforts have been. Two-thirds of the assessment is based on the confidential and anonymous feedback of employees that The Great Place to Work® receive through the employee survey. Employees are asked whether they agree or disagree with a range of statements including:
· ‘Management has a clear view of where it’s going and how to get there’
· ‘I feel I make a difference here’.
The scores from these two evaluations determine whether or not an organisation is a great workplace.
Zenopa still strive to improve further and will be taking part in the Best Workplaces Programme in 2014.
