3 Monkeys Zeno founder departs to start new venture
3 Monkeys Zeno has confirmed that its founder Angie Moxham is leaving the business to establish a new venture.
Ms Moxham founded 3 Monkeys in 2003 and developed it into one of the UK's largest independent agencies, before selling the company to its current owner Zeno in 2016 for around GBP 15 million, reports PRWeek.
With 3 Monkeys Zeno continuing to thrive – winning new briefs with cloud data storage firm Snowflake and mapping tech firm Here Technologies – Ms Moxham has departed to set up a new agency called The Fourth Angel.
She stated on Facebook that the venture will be adopting a "lateral approach to integrated comms" and pledged to announce founding clients shortly.
In the meantime, 3 Monkeys Zeno will continue to be led by its existing leadership team, with 12-year veteran Christine Jewell in the top position.
A spokesperson for 3 Monkeys Zeno said: "Angie has decided the time is right for her to step away to pursue her next chapter. We want to thank Angie for her many contributions to the business over the years."
