3M launches new radiology reporting software

3M has announced the launch of its new ChartScriptMD Software for Radiology, a new reporting application that allows for accurate data and fast turnaround times.

The software allows radiologists to create, sign and distribute complete reports and communicate diagnostic findings from a single, integrated system, saving them considerable amounts of time.

It provides flexible options for traditional dictation or speech recognition, as well as hundreds of report templates that match standard CPT billing codes. It is also easier than ever to customise reports, capture and include images and manage work lists.

The 3M ChartScriptMD Software for Radiology has been designed by a practising radiologist and will prove useful as professionals seek to cope with rising costs and regulatory changes.

JaeLynn Williams, senior vice-president for 3M Health Information Systems, said: "Our new radiology reporting software not only increases efficiency and convenience, but also helps produce data and reports that are accurate and of high quality."

The firm is enjoying a successful year so far in 2013, having achieved a record-breaking financial performance during the third quarter.
