The trade, assets and liabilities of A Menarini were disposed of on July 1st 2005 and the firm has not traded since that date. It did not trade during 2007 and its costs were those associated with meeting the ongoing statutory costs of running a company.

Menarini Diagnostics was established in the UK during 1987. The company is now established as one of the fastest growing diagnostics companies in the UK with annual growth in excess of 30 per cent. To date, Menarini has already placed more than 600 analysers of various types in the UK market.

The company has achieved this growth by an emphasis on promoting leading edge products, and combining that with high quality service and technical support. Menarini UK currently employs over 70 staff in sales, marketing and customer support. The company is based in Wokingham, Berkshire in a purpose-built facility which includes offices, warehousing and engineering workshops. During 2004, Menarini Diagnostics UK, in common with all of the other Menarini affiliates, achieved certification to the International Quality Standard ISO 9000:2000 and the company states it is committed to continuous improvement in quality in all of its activities.
