AAH Pharmaceuticals agree Ferring wholesaler partnership

AAH Pharmaceuticals has announced an exclusive UK distribution partnership with Ferring Pharmaceuticals, effective as of January 1st 2014.

Celesio-owned AAH has been selected as Ferring's sole wholesale distribution partner in Britain and will be responsible for making its full range of urology, endocrine oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and reproductive health medicines available to patients.

The three-year arrangement has been implemented by Ferring to create a more robust, efficient and transparent supply chain, with AAH having impressed the company by providing it with an effective emergency supply service for several years.

AAH will supply Ferring products to every dispensing point across the UK, while also providing a range of patient-centred services to optimise support for customers.

AAH is the largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in the UK, with 3,800 employees and 20 locations across the UK.
