AAH Pharmaceuticals announces new venture with Rx Systems

31st December 2009

AAH Pharmaceuticals has announced the details of a new contract with Rx Systems, which will see the two organisations work together to develop a single PMR system for pharmacies.

The system will be available for the firm’s existing customers already using its LINK service and will be entitled ProScript LINK, the company revealed.

According to AAH, the majority of LINK users will have installed and instigated the new system by the end of next year.

“Combining our strengths and expertise with those of Rx Systems will enable us to offer customers greater functionality, more quickly than would be the case had we decided to pursue separate development paths,” explained Mark James, group managing director of AAH Pharmaceuticals.

Earlier this year, AAH Pharmaceuticals announced another partnership with Bristol-Myers Squibb, which saw the firms become wholesaling partners.

The agreement was effective from August 1st 2009 and applies to England, Scotland and Wales.
