11th March 2010

Advanced Medical Solutions has hailed its strong financial performance in 2009 after experiencing a 19 per cent increase in revenues.

The medical device company’s annual financial report revealed that revenue for the 12-month period stood at 24.1 million pounds, compared to 20.3 million pounds in 2008.

In addition to this, the company highlighted a number of corporate milestones achieved during the year, including the completion of its takeover of Corpura BV and the progress made on the construction of its new facility in Winsford.

Dr Geoffrey Vernon, chairman of Advanced Medical Solutions Group, expressed confidence that these results will position the company for further growth in 2010.

He said: “I am pleased to report that further major steps have been taken in exploiting the group’s significant growth opportunities with key strategic new markets entered, new partners added [and] innovative new products launched.”

Earlier this month, the medical technology company announced the appointment of Penelope Anne Freer as a new senior independent non-executive director.
