Agilent announces PCI-SIG re-election of Rick Eads

20th July 2009

Agilent has announced that Rick Eads has been re-elected to serve for a third term on the board of directors at the Peripheral Component Interconnect Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG).

Mr Eads, who holds the position of senior PCI Express program manager in Agilent’s digital test division, was first elected to the board in 2007 and membership of the panel must be ratified on an annual basis via a member-wide election process.

Ron Nersesian, senior vice-president and general manager of Agilent’s electronic measurement group, said that the company is "honoured" that Mr Eads has been elected to serve for a third term.

He added: "Having Rick serve on the board helps Agilent ensure PCI-SIG members have the solutions they need to test PCI Express products under the newest revision of the standard – especially PCI Express 3.0."

Al Yanes, chairman and president of the PCI-SIG, stated that the group – which has more than 900 members – is "very pleased" to have Mr Eads represent Agilent on the board.ADNFCR-1050-ID-19273498-ADNFCR
