Agilent introduces faster hardware for oscilloscope range

25th November 2009

Agilent has announced the improvement of the hardware that accompanies its Infiniium 90000 Series oscilloscope portfolio.

The new performance enhancements mean that the Infiniium 90000 Series scopes yield results in less than two seconds.

They also boast one Gpts of memory, allowing developers to document results of their design performance across a wider range of test conditions at a faster rate.

Additionally, the new performance enhancements come as standard and at no additional cost on all Infiniium 90000 Series Oscilloscopes ordered after Nov 15th 2009, the company revealed.

Jay Alexander, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s oscilloscope organisation, stated: “Delivering best-in-class oscilloscopes clearly takes an ongoing commitment to investing in key scope technologies, but it’s also key to leverage industry performance enhancements in PC platform technology.”

This news comes after Agilent announced the purchase of MassCode technology from Eurofins MWG Operon – a subsidiary of Eurofins.
