Agilent Technologies launches Agilent 6470 mass spectrometer
Agilent Technologies has announced the launch of a new liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) innovation at the ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics.
The Agilent 6470 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS is the company's most robust triple quadrupole system ever, delivering attogram-level sensitivity and accurate quantitation with up to six orders of linear dynamic range.
Key features include its built-in Jet Stream technology for added sensitivity, its enhanced Q1 ion optics with optimised prefilter geometry, a tapered hexapole collision cell and powerful MassHunter data handling software.
Its precision and reliability make it ideal for food testing, environmental, pharmaceutical and clinical research applications.
Jim Yano, marketing vice-president of Agilent's mass spectrometry division, said: "The Agilent 6470 demonstrates our commitment to continually increasing the sensitivity and robustness of our instruments."
The ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics is taking place in St Louis, Missouri and runs until June 4th.
