Agilent Technologies launches new 1290 Infinity II UHPLC system

24th September 2014

Agilent Technologies has announced the launch of its newest ultra high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system, the 1290 Infinity II.

The new flagship instrument in the 1200 Infinity Series liquid chromatography portfolio, the device offers the same level of reliability and robustness for which the brand is known, while incorporating various advances to enhance efficiency.

It provides exceptional analytical data quality, chromatographic resolution/precision and broad dynamic range detection, as well as ease of use benefits and the flexibility to accommodate changing separation conditions, thus minimising turnaround times.

The system also incorporates eight new modules and a variety of Agilent A-line accessories to further optimise chromatographic efficiency and laboratory workflow.

Stefan Schuette, vice-president and general manager of Agilent's liquid phase separations division, said: "We are delighted to share this next-generation ultra-high-performance solution with all those seeking to maximise their day-to-day efficiency."

The company is currently undergoing a major transformation, having spun off its electronic measurement business as a separate organisation called Keysight Technologies. It named Mike McMullen as its next chief executive earlier this month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801750442-ADNFCR
