Agilent Technologies partners with Markes
Agilent Technologies has announced a new partnership with a firm which specialises in goods for use in thermal desorption (TD) instrumentation.
The company will team-up with Markes International to market and distribute a range of accessories and consumables for use in gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
MI will make its TD solutions and systems available internationally through Agilent, which will use its market power to support the components.
In addition, the two will work together on the research and development of a number of new GC and MS applications.
Shanya Kane, Agilent’s vice president and general manager of GC systems and workflow automation, said the partnership would build on work that had already seen success in a number of areas.
"We’ve worked with Markes for about seven years in select regions and are pleased to extend this relationship to serve our customers worldwide," she added.
Agilent recently advised those in science sales jobs that its Advanced Design System had undergone some significant design changes to better cope with high-speed circuit design.
