Allen and Page officially opens equestrian centre

27th October 2009

Allen and Page is celebrating the opening of a new specialist equestrian centre at Easton College – a UK hub it is lending its support to.

The firm is the official feed supplier of the college and attended the opening of its new facility, which is entitled the Sir Nicholas Bacon Centre, this week.

During the opening, a new indoor arena event was hosted by the centre’s chair of governors Mike Gamble, as well as Sir Nicholas Bacon and Pippa Funnell MBE.

The crowds were also treated to para dressage displays, with Para Olympic silver medallist Simon Laurens and showjumpers Susi Rogers-Hartley and Karen Bostock in attendance.

Allen and Page stated that it is “proud to be associated with such an impressive equestrian college and [is] looking forward to working closely with the college in the future”.

Some of the expertise the company will be providing to the college includes its advice, support contributions to student lectures and its tailored feeding programmes for individual horses.
