Almus Pharmaceuticals launches five new generic products

16th April 2010

Almus Pharmaceuticals has launched five new generic medicines in a move which is intended to expand the range of its product portfolio.

The supplier has introduced a 25mcg offering of clonidine hydrochloride, which includes 112 tablets, while its will also be selling hydrocortisone in 10 mg and 20 mg specifications.

A new dexamethasone product completes the new additions, which will be sold in packages of 50 and 100 tablets.

The company explained: “The products are designed to ensure that the range has the appropriate balance of important niche lines as well as the top generics required in the dispensary.”

Almus added that the packages of the new drugs have also been colour-coded, which will help pharmacists to dispense them more safely and accurately.

The company’s product packaging design has formed a key part of its generics concept since being launched in 2003, helping Almus to claim the Best Brand Identity accolade at the Design Effectiveness Awards in 2004.
