Anachem adds IDEX Sure-Fit connectors to product portfolio

Anachem has announced the addition of a new product to its sales range – IDEX Sure-Fit connectors from Isolation Technologies.

In order to achieve effective chromatographic results, removing the possibility of leaks and dead volume is integral, according to the group. Its Sure-Fit connectors aim to achieve this with their self-adjusting abilities to any port depth, regardless of the manufacturer of the column.

It is also the only product of its kind that offers a universal fit through its unique internal spring tensioned mechanism, the company adds.

Other qualities of the connectors include that they are fingertight to 6,000 psi, there is no risk of galling or seizing and they are available in both the organic polymer PEEK and stainless steel.

Another product offered to the scientific community by Anachem of late is DNAreleasy – a reagent for the release of gemonic DNA and lysis of cells.
