Anachem launches new line of vacuum-driven filters

1st December 2008

Anachem has announced the launch of a new range of vacuum-driven bottle top filters called SupaFil.

The filters are gamma-sterilised, non-pyrogenic and lightweight. They are available in 0.45um or 0.22um membrane pore sizes, in three volumes – 125ml, 250ml or 500ml – and in nylon, MCE, PES or PVDF membrane options.

Additionally, the SupaFil units are designed to connect to hoses in a variety of diameters and are ergonomic and "robust", according to Anachem.

The filters also have engraved graduations and large knurls on the reservoir bottle cap, which allows for easy readjustment.

People in scientific sales jobs may be interested in the new range from Anachem, which recently also launched a new manual bench-top pipetting system – the Rainin Liquidator 96.

The company claims to be the leading laboratory liquid handling specialist in the UK and Ireland and has more than 35 years’ experience in range of fields including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. ADNFCR-1050-ID-18904385-ADNFCR
