Anachem launches new pipetting system

14th October 2008

Anachem has reported the availability of a new manual bench-top pipetting system called the Rainin Liquidator 96.

The mobile system – which can fit on a bench or lamimar flow cabinet – has a small footprint and operates similarly to a manual pipette, allowing all researchers to use it, information published on Laboratory Talk said.

According to Anachem, the Liquidator 96 does the job of bridging the gap between manual multi-channel pipetting and fully-automated platforms.

It also claimed a researcher not familiar with the system "can fill ten 96-well plates accurately and reproducibly with 100ul/well of solution from a single reservoir, using the same tips, in less than four minutes, which is equivalent to 20 seconds per plate".

Glycomic, proteomic and genomic research has been deemed feasible using the new Liquidator 96.

In addition to this news, people looking for science sales jobs may be interested in the company’s other laboratory automation products such as the Anachem Flexus range.
