Anachem pipette tips tackle RSI

6th August 2007

Anachem claims its pipette tips can reduce the effects of repetitive strain injury (RSI) for manual laboratory workers.

The firm’s EZject tips reduce the force required for both loading and ejection, without impacting on accuracy or precision, thus diminishing the likelihood that RSI will be sustained, Anachem states.

Most existing manual laboratory pipettes may be used with the product, according to the manufacturer.

"Anachem EZject tips have been evaluated for accuracy and precision in Anachem’s Pipette Service Centre," the company explains.

"The results obtained show that all volumes of EZject tips perform well within pipette manufacturers’ specifications."

By using a bi-fabricated wall, Anachem suggests that the tip is made more flexible and capable of creating a secure seal with less force than is typically required.

Established in 1970, the company reveals that its mission is to assure quality and compliance for laboratory results, while increasing the overall throughput of scientific facilities.ADNFCR-1050-ID-18235086-ADNFCR
