Anachem unveils new Flexi-Seal Plate Sealer

Anachem has made a new product available on the scientific equipment market – its Thermal Flexi-Seal Plate Sealer, which is designed to give greater flexibility to those working in laboratories.

The equipment fits easily on to a desk top and boasts a small footprint design which allows for loading in either a portrait or landscape position.

Furthermore, it features an interchangeable heater block that enhances seal and re-seal capacity and reduces damage to the plate surface.

It can also be integrated with laboratory-automated systems, including the Anachem Flexus Liquid Handler and is designed to help save costs.

The Flexi-Seal plate seals SBS format microwell plates of heights between 3 mm and 60 mm, within a time range of between 0.1 and 9.9 seconds and is compatible with both Scorpion and OEM stackers.

This development comes after Anachem launched its Gilson GX-271/4 ASPEC – a piece of equipment capable of processing samples of up to one litre in volume – earlier this month.
