Anomaly and Cancer Research UK to bring back Right Now campaign

20th December 2017

Anomaly is supporting Cancer Research UK in relaunching a public awareness campaign called Right Now, which originally ran in December 2015.

A new series of Right Now ads will run in January 2018, showcasing the impact of Cancer Research UK's work on the lives of people with cancer. The commercials will catch up with previously-featured individuals who have benefited from the charity's work.

Anomaly has partnered with The Garden Productions to create the new advertising materials, while media for the campaign has been planned and bought by Mediacom. Additional video content will be featured on social channels to bolster engagement.

Jo Cooke, marketing director at Cancer Research UK, told Campaign: "Where we've moved it to now is building in stories of survivors of cancer. It's really important for the public to see the role of Cancer Research UK in that."

Over the last 40 years, the number of cancer patients who survive ten years after being diagnosed has doubled to around half. Cancer Research UK aims to increase this to three-quarters by 2034, and is therefore looking to generate the donations and support necessary to make this a reality.
