Ansell appoints new chief financial officer

Ansell has announced the appointment of Neil Salmon as its new chief financial officer (CFO), a role that places him in charge of its business development and finance functions.

Mr Salmon is an accomplished finance executive with more than 20 years of professional experience and will join Ansell on July 15th 2013 from Innophos, an international producer of performance-critical and nutritional specialty ingredients.

He will be tasked with coordinating the implementation of Ansell's strategic plan to improve its short-term performance, while also ensuring the firm is capable of delivering profitable long-term global growth and shareholder value creation.

Magnus Nicolin, chief executive officer and managing director of Ansell, said: "His experience in managing financial organisations for a variety of international organisations is an excellent fit for our growth strategy and the Ansell culture of innovation."

Francois Le Jeune, who has served as acting CFO for several months, will be providing support for Mr Salmon as he transitions into the new role.
