ASDM completes strategic review period

16th February 2011

Advanced Surgical Design and Manufacture (ASDM) has announced the completion of its strategic review period, an initiative that has helped the company to achieve business growth.

The medical technology firm has made extensive investments in personnel and product lines during the review, while also agreeing new distributor relationships.

These include partnerships with companies such as Arthrosurface, Permedica and Parcus Medical, all of which were announced in the latter half of 2010.

As a result of these moves, the company was able to achieve a year-on-year sales growth of 28 percent for its core product range during the seven months ending in January 2011.

Following the completion of this review, Michael Spooner – who has played a key role in conducting the process over the last four months – has chosen to step down from the board of directors.

Dr Greg Roger, chief executive officer of ASDM, said: "The board appreciates the efforts of Mr Spooner and wish him well for the future. The execution of the initiatives of the strategic review is well underway."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800408681-ADNFCR
