Ashley Communications marks 20th anniversary with new business wins
Ashley Communications has marked its 20th anniversary by highlighting its recent success in growing its client base.
The medical communications consultancy is celebrating the completion of two decades of operation in 2017, having won eight new accounts in 2016 with Abbott Diagnostics, AbbVie, Allergan, Indivior, Merck Sharp and Dohme, Otsuka, PerkinElmer and Torax Medical.
In addition, it was able to maintain its relationships with core clients such as Astellas, Takeda, Shire and Merz, which have been working with Ashley Communications for between five and 14 years.
The agency's partnership with Southwood Research, which was announced in 2016, was also cited as a key contributor to its recent success, allowing it to provide a combined service that adds value to the services offered to clients.
Chrissie Ashley, chairman of Ashley Communications, said: "Our key objective for 2016 was to broaden our client base and to fully utilise the therapeutic experience we have within our agency. We are delighted with the results, which put us in a strong position starting 2017."
