Atomic wins brief with digital ticketing service ticketclever

9th May 2017

Atomic has been selected as the new retained PR partner of the rail ticket retailer ticketclever.

The agency, which serves as the consumer and tech division of Grayling, has been tasked with building brand awareness for ticketclever and driving traffic to its website, building on the work it has already done for the client.

Atomic helped devise a successful launch project for ticketclever, driving hundreds of thousands of potential users to the website and prompting strong sales in the first week via earned media.

Jeremy Acklam, ticketclever's founder, cited Atomic's strong work on this project as a key reason why it received the retained brief, in addition to its track record of working with disruptive challenger brands.

Helen Ellis, head of Atomic, said: "With our fusion of cutting-edge analytics and standout creativity, we have developed a programme designed to resonate with cost-savvy rail travellers, without overstepping the terms of ticketclever's licence to operate."

The ticketclever service utilises a special algorithm to find cheap rail tickets, enabling passengers to save at least 40 million pounds annually on 95 million rail journeys over an hour in length.
