Axon Communications appoints senior team members

Axon Communications has augmented its senior team with the announcement of two new directorial appointments.

The agency has selected Shanida Nataraja to become its new editorial and scientific director, while Natalie Henson has been chosen for the role of associate director, reports PRWeek.

This appointment marks Ms Henson’s return to the company after a two year absence, having been employed by fellow communications agency Fleishman-Hillard as healthcare team leader in that time.

Meanwhile, Ms Nataraja joins Axon from Medicus International.

This comes after Axon’s former associate director Peter Zarko-Flynn departed the company earlier this year to take up a role at Edelman.

Axon Communications operates across a variety of healthcare sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices and patient organisations, and performs work for clients in regions such as Canada and the US as well as the UK.

Its client roster includes some of the largest and most prominent companies in the industry, including Pfizer, Roche, Novartis International and Boehringer Ingelheim.
