Axon hands new roles to senior medical comms staff

Axon Communications has handed new roles to three senior team members within its medical communications business.

Dr Emma Kenny, who has led the MedComms unit for eight years, is taking on a new leadership role focused on further diversification of the client base, the establishment of innovative hiring practices and the expansion of the agency's capabilities.

This change will see her Dr Kenny relinquish leadership of the MedComms team, though she will continue to work with clients on scientific and strategic projects, as well maintaining other responsibilities as a partner within the firm.

Succeeding Dr Kenny at the head of the team will be Dr Andy Grigg, who joined the agency in mid-2016 as a director and has demonstrated strong leadership qualities.

Finally, Dr Emma Lemon has been promoted to a director role, following a strong year of driving significant new business and leading large client accounts and teams.
