Axon names new integrated communications head and HR director

Axon has continued its recent expansion with the appointment of two new key team members.

Jeffrey Freedman has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice-president of integrated communications, offering digital strategic leadership and innovative integrated services to Axon's current and future US healthcare clients.

He is an experienced strategist with expertise in leveraging analytics and adult learning principles to create experiential and digital strategies. Most recently, he was responsible for creating and setting strategy for integrated programming within the Medical Knowledge Group network of agencies.

Mario Nacinovich, managing partner of Axon, said: "Jeffrey brings the real-world, practical experience in integrated communications to our relationships with our clients and colleagues."

Meanwhile, Antonia Katsambis has joined Axon as HR director at the firm's London office, leading HR-related initiatives for both Axon and sister agency Madano, both of which have experienced steady growth in 2017.

She brings ten years of talent management expertise to the firm, having worked at a number of different agencies within the media sector, including most recently at Edelman.
