Babel opens new office in Cambridge

15th August 2016

Babel has announced the launch of its second UK office in Cambridge, a move that will help to expand its presence in the east of England.

The opening of the new site gives the agency access to the growing number of businesses in the East Anglia tech community, from large global organisations to start-ups. Indeed, the launch of the office coincides with Babel winning two new clients.

International Internet of Things platform provider Podsystem and merchant payment specialists Cashflows have both joined Babel's portfolio of Cambridge-based clients, which include the telecoms software innovator Opencloud.

Ian Hood, chief executive officer of Babel, said: "The area has proved itself as a hotbed for international companies looking for a UK presence outside of the capital, in addition to the raft of innovative start-ups emanating from the University of Cambridge."

The launch of the new office will help to further the development of Babel's corporate reputation, with the agency having recently been granted Elite status in in The Drum's Independent Agency Census.
