Bang and Olufsen appoints PR manager

Bang and Olufsen has announced the appointment of Amy Stevens to the newly-created role of PR manager, based at its UK office.

The luxury audiovisual technology brand has recruited Ms Stevens from Davies Murphy Group agency Lewis PR. She can boast more than six years of experience in the lifestyle and tech PR sector, reports Gorkana.

She will be tasked with working on increasing awareness of Bang and Olufsen's core and B&O PLAY collections and partnerships, collaborating with Marlin PR, which has been the firm's retained UK agency since 2011.

The company has recently launched a high-end TV and has hired Ms Stevens to raise the profile of its expanding range of services.

Jan Helleskov, head of global PR and corporate comms at Bang and Olufsen, said: "We're thrilled to welcome Amy to the Bang and Olufsen team and believe her experience will be integral in further expanding the UK market."
