Bausch and Lomb announces proposed initial public offering registration filing
Bausch and Lomb has announced that a registration statement on Form S-1 has been filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The global eye health company filed the statement – which relates to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock – through its holding firm WP Prism.
This registration statement is yet to become effective, however, while the number of shares set to be offered is not yet decided, nor has the price range for the proposed offering been determined.
According to the Rochester, New York-based group – which was founded in 1853 and aims to protect, enhance and restore people's eyesight – securities cannot be purchased or acceptance given to offers to buy ahead of the time when the registration is put in place.
It was noted that the release of this news should not be viewed as an offer to sell, or as a solicitation as an offer to buy.
