Bausch and Lomb to present at AAO 2013

15th November 2013

Bausch and Lomb has announced that it will be attending the annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in New Orleans from November 16th to 19th 2013.

The industry event will give the company an opportunity to showcase its comprehensive range of products – including prescription pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter offerings, intraocular lenses and other eye surgery products – while also hosting various talks and symposia.

Highlights of the meeting include presentations of Prolensa and Lotemax, two of Bausch and Lomb's latest pharmaceutical solutions, as well as hands-on demonstrations of the Victus Femtosecond Laser platform.

It will also be sponsoring and participating in discussions focusing both on its product innovations and on wider industry issues, such as different approaches to cataract surgery and developments in intraocular lens technology.

Bausch and Lomb is now entering a new chapter of its company history following its acquisition by Valeant Pharmaceuticals this year. The firm employs more than 11,000 people worldwide and has existed since 1853.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801661315-ADNFCR
