Bausch and Lomb’s new websites said to be easy to use

18th May 2009

Bausch & Lomb has launched two new websites and said they are easy to navigate.

The eye health company introduced two online portals this week. Both concentrate on the surgical instruments business and are convenient because one online quote can be provided by selecting items.

Plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat (ENT) markets are covered at www.bauschinstruments.com, while the Storz ophthalmic website is located at www.storzeye.com.

“Customers will experience improved navigation and updated content, providing a quick and convenient channel for fulfilling their ophthalmic, ENT and plastic surgery instruments needs,” Bausch & Lomb explained.

The news follows another announcement made with recently by the company, with regards to an agreement with Karl Storz.

As of May 15th, all of Bausch & Lomb’s ENT and plastic surgery products were no longer marketed under the Storz name, although it will remain in place for the company’s ophthalmic instruments.

All product designs and item numbers will, however, stay the same.
