Baxter appoints new treasurer and corporate officer

10th September 2013

Baxter has announced the appointment of Todd Young as its new treasurer and corporate officer of the company.

Mr Young is the former vice-president for international finance at Baxter and has been with the company since 2001, moving up through positions of increasing responsibility over the last 12 years.

His past roles at Baxter include vice-president of international tax, assistant treasurer and vice-president of corporate planning and analysis, while prior to this, he worked as a tax attorney at Sidley and Austin.

He has been appointed as treasurer as a successor to James Saccaro, who has assumed a senior leadership role within the company's medical products commercial organisation.

Mr Young will now report directly to Robert Hombach, Baxter's chief financial officer.

This news comes in the same week that Baxter announced the acquisition of Gambro, a prominent developer of medical technologies and dialysis products, as part of efforts to enhance its leadership position in the renal therapies market.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801635519-ADNFCR
