BCF Technology helps Cheltenham vet fit GE Revolution ACT scanner
BCF Technology has helped a vet in Cheltenham to install a cutting-edge new computed tomography (CT) scanner to assist with its imaging needs.
The Dragon Veterinary Centre has become the first premises in the country to fit a GE Revolution ACT digital scanner, following the launch of the device earlier this year. The system combines an intuitive user interface with class-leading image quality.
Key improvements include a focus on accelerating user workflows, with its refined interface system geared towards ease of use. The device is also highly affordable, and has already been delivering benefits for the Dragon Veterinary Centre team.
Vet Alan Lack said the Revolution ACT digital scanner has already been used to detect subtle lung patterns and signs of pulmonary metastasis where thoracic radiographs were inconclusive, as well as turning up a brain tumour in a canine patient.
BCF radiographer and application specialist Kat Evans said: "The Revolution ACT helps us achieve our aim of making the workflow and diagnostic imaging of animals as easy as possible for customers."
