BCF Technology helps Vets Now Manchester equip new imaging suite

20th January 2017

BCF Technology has highlighted its successful implementation of a new suite of imaging systems at an advanced emergency and specialty hospital operated by Vets Now in Manchester.

The company recently installed a new GE computed tomography system, a DR X-ray device, two ultrasound systems and new fluoroscopy and PACS capabilities, as well as relevant training and support.

With the aim of making the hospital's workflow and diagnostic imaging of the animals as easy and smooth as possible, BCF implemented a number of creative solutions, including an image management system that allows images to be displayed throughout the practice.

Since many of the clinicians on the site had not previously used these kinds of equipment before, BCF radiographer Kat Evans made her expertise available to assist the team in getting the most out of the technology.

Gavin Mitchell, BCF's managing director, said: "It has been great to work so closely with the Vets Now team to be allowed to provide such a comprehensive imaging solution."
