BCF Technology launches new Cuattro Slate 6 X-ray system for horses

BCF Technology has announced the launch of its new Cuattro Slate 6 Equine Digital Radiography system, the next-generation iteration of its Slate product range.

The new X-ray technology offers a 16-inch 4K ultra-HD display that delivers up to ten percent more resolution than most medical radiology monitors, while its rapid performance allows images to be viewed in 1.9 seconds, ready for exposure again in 5.8 seconds.

Other key features include the ability to modify presets using six dynamic factors, as well as allowing users to save and store own presets for future shots in that view and projection, reducing the need for postprocessing.

The system also offers the ability to archive data to an external USB hard drive, fully indexed to a primary database, providing additional security and allowing clearer running of the system, in addition to the convenience of being able to store images on a portable device.
