BCF Technology launches small animal X-ray positioning posters
BCF Technology has announced the launch of a new series of small animal X-ray positioning posters.
The posters are designed for use in practices and show the most commonly used views for hip, elbow, abdomen and thorax imaging for small canines, as well as tips on how to achieve the best positions.
They will be sent to practices through Veterinary Practice Magazine and Veterinary Ireland Journal at the beginning of August 2015, and will also be made available for download at the BCF Technology website.
Ben Sullivan, BCF's clinical manager, said: "The aim is to help vets and vet nurses to achieve the best views possible for diagnosis and to reduce the number of retakes."
BCF is releasing the posters to coincide with the launch of the new Vita Flex CR X-ray system, which has small animal and equine positioning guides built into the software.
It is also smaller and lighter than other products in the Vita range, offering a minimal footprint and low-cost design.
