BCF Technology provides Somerset vet practice with new x-ray system

7th January 2014

BCF Technology has won praise from a vet practice in Somerset after it sold a Cuattro Slate 3 Wireless DR x-ray system to the client.

The Stables Equine Practice had an existing computed radiography (CR) x-ray system, but chose to invest in a direct radiography (DR) option due to a desire to find an easier way of taking scans in the field.

Whereas using CR technology often results in occasional shots needing to be retaken due to movement or other considerations affecting the image quality, DR allows the results to be seen instantly, eliminating this margin of error.

The equine practice chose the Slate 3 due to the convenience offered by its wireless design and the speed of its operation.

Nicko Robertson, one of the founding partners of the practice, said: "We knew we could rely on BCF for support throughout the life of the equipment and that their choice of products for the equine veterinary market has always been spot on."

This comes after the company recently relocated to new, larger premises in Bellshill, Scotland, complete with expanded facilities that will allow it to improve its standard of service.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801679701-ADNFCR
