BCF Technology showcases products at VICAS 2012

BCF Technology has showcased a number of new products at the recent Veterinary Ireland Companion Animal Society (VICAS) conference in Kilkenny.

Company representatives Niamh Naughton and Claire Finch both attended the event at the Lyrath Hotel in order to demonstrate innovations such as the Carestream Vita CR X-ray system, Honda HS2100 and SonoSite Micromaxx to visitors.

Existing customers and potential new clients were both able to find out more about BCF's products thanks to video presentations on issues such as abdominal ultrasound, which were described as "very helpful" by attendees.

In total, 174 participants were involved in the VICAS conference this year, as well as 66 exhibitor staff members.

Ms Finch said: "As always it was nice to meet existing customers and potential customers. VICAS is a great opportunity to let customers know about what we are up to and what we have coming soon."

Last month, the company announced that it has provided a Mindray DP6900 ultrasound system to Animalism in St Albans, one of the oldest veterinary practices in the UK.
