BCF Technology supports new veterinary imaging internship in Edinburgh

BCF Technology has announced the establishment of a new internship through a partnership with the University of Edinburgh.

Claudia van Zadelhoff has been selected for a specialised internship and European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) residency position at the university, with BCF's support.

The internship will be followed by a residency over five years, which will see Ms van Zadelhoff working to advance the application of 3D imaging for vets – clinical research work that will be assisted by the use of a BCF-supplied Epica Pegaso CT scanner.

She will also spend time at BCF's head office in Bellshill, and will attend exhibitions to meet the company's customers, get an overview of their needs and learn how 3D imaging can help them.

BCF director Gavin Mitchell said: "Claudia and the team at Edinburgh, through use of their Pegaso CT, will develop new protocols to advance equine imaging through this partnership with BCF."
