BD Unveils Efficient Ultrasound Support Device

To help improve medical specialists’ productivity, Becton, Dickinson and Company has released SiteRite 9, an enhanced vascular access ultrasonography device.

The SiteRite 9 device is designed to assist in performing procedures such as the insertion of IV lines, central venous catheters, and peripherally inserted central catheters.

The device combines multiple monitoring tools, such as the Sherlock 3CG+ Tip Confirmation feature that ensures precise catheter tip placement and position and the Cue Needle Monitoring tool that provides ongoing needle observation.

Additionally, the device supports the day-to-day workflow of healthcare experts with auto-filling features and medical data access through information gathering.
