Beiersdorf appoints consumer health veteran as new board member

6th February 2017

Beiersdorf has announced the appointment of the consumer health sector veteran Vincent Warnery as the newest member of its executive board.

Mr Warnery will take up his new role on February 15th 2017 and will be responsible for the management and development of the company's Eucerin, Hansaplast and La Prairie brands.

He began his career at Procter and Gamble in France in 1991, before later joining L'Oreal, where he worked for 15 years across a number of senior positions in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Subsequent to this, he was recruited by Sanofi, serving most recently as its senior vice-president and head of its global consumer health business, prior to his departure in November last year.

Stefan Heidenreich, chief executive officer of Beiersdorf, said: "With Mr Warnery's appointment, we are adding a manager to our executive board who has the expertise and international experience we need in this area."

The company is seeking to unlock the growth potential of the Eucerin, Hansaplast and La Prairie brands, helping them match the success the Nivea range has seen in the last few years.
