Beiersdorf to launch new Eucerin DermoPURIFYER acne products

6th July 2011

Beiersdorf has announced the expansion of its Eucerin DermoPURIFYER range with the addition of new products designed for acne-prone skin.

The extended range will include a number of new medical skincare and dermatology offerings for those affected by the condition, including a cleanser, scrub, toner and cover stick, as well as day care and night care offerings.

They utilise a range of active ingredients such as lactic acid, l-carnitine, decandiol and licochalcone a, which have been clinically proven to combat all four factors that lead to the development of acne.

Beiersdorf is introducing its new products this month in Germany and will continue to roll them out in additional nations in Europe, Asia and Latin America over the coming months.

Dr Simone Presto of the Eucerin brand's medical management unit said: "Acne is one of the most often treated symptoms by dermatologists worldwide … 40 percent of all adult females and males are affected by the widest variety of these occurrences."

Last month, Beiersdorf announced the appointment of Ralph Gusko as its executive board member responsible for brands and supply chain, as it seeks to continue expanding its global business.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800613471-ADNFCR
