Berkeley PR hires associate director from AxiCom

Berkeley PR has announced the appointment of Nick Head as its new associate director, a move that will support its ambitious growth strategy.

He joins the agency from the tech PR firm AxiCom, while prior to this, he was employed as associate director at FleishmanHillard. He has experience of delivering campaigns for clients such as Dell, BlackBerry, Avaya, Huawei, 3M and Siemens, reports PRWeek.

Mr Head will now oversee a ten-strong team at Berkeley’s Reading office, with a remit to provide strategic advice to clients such as Yodel and Gigya.

The firm has made this appointment at a time when it is experiencing strong growth, with client fee income expected to have risen 22 percent during the 12 months ending in June 2015.

It has also recently hired Laura White of Harvard PR as an account manager and Rebecca Bushell, formerly of JBP PR, as a senior consultant at its Bristol office.
