Biolitec presents new laser therapy for myomas and polyps

22nd November 2013

Biolitec has announced the launch of Hola, a new laser therapy for the treatment of myomas and polyps among women of childbearing age.

Unveiled at the Medica 2013 industry conference, the new approach represents a gentle alternative to conventional methods and can be performed in an outpatient setting under local anaesthesia using the Ceralas HPD laser or Leonardo Dual Laser.

Thanks to the use of diode lasers, the contact vaporisation of myomas or polyps leads to immediately visible results. Moreover, the specific wavelength of the laser means controlled and precise working can be assured, thereby minimising intraoperative bleeding.

Due to the excellent haemostasis and rapid tissue vaporisation of Hola, inpatient time and postoperative discomforts can be reduced. Doctors have also praised the new system for being easy to use, cost-effective and generally beneficial for patients.

The Leonardo laser from Biolitec was launched by the company earlier this year and is designed to be the most versatile and universally medical laser available on the market today.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801664203-ADNFCR
