Bite wins Casio brief to promote technology use in classrooms

23rd December 2014

Bite has been handed a new UK PR contract by Casio, one of the world's leading electronics manufacturers.

The agency has been tasked with leading the client's UK PR account. Waggener Edstrom previously handled the account, with Bite being appointed following a non-competitive pitch, reports PRWeek.

Additionally, Bite will work with Casio on a campaign to promote the use of technology in maths teaching, producing research into whether equipment such as graphic calculators could help to close UK skill gaps in core subjects like maths.

Rachel Gilley, deputy managing director UK at Bite, said: "We pride ourselves at Bite in creating tailored and targeted campaigns and we anticipate that our work with Casio will be one of our most exciting campaigns yet."

This is the latest technology client win for Bite, following its appointment by WeWork and BloomReach in recent months.

It caps a year of significant growth and development for the agency, which became part of the Text 100 network earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801767375-ADNFCR
