BMI Healthcare hospital visited by Enfield North MP

BMI Healthcare has thanked Enfield North MP Nick de Bois for paying a visit to its Kings Oak Hospital healthcare facility in Enfield.

The politician met with nurses, consultants and staff at the 47-bed private hospital in order to gain a better understanding of how it works alongside the NHS to provide healthcare services to the local community.

He was shown around the north London hospital's theatres, consulting suite, imaging and physiotherapy department and a patient room, as well as meeting with the site's director of nursing Lorraine Kelly.

Mr de Bois praised the staff of BMI The Kings Oak Hospital for the passion they demonstrated towards patient care.

David Henderson, the hospital's executive director, said: "It was great to see that he was so willing to learn about what we, as a team of dedicated professionals, do in our roles to assist our local community every day."

Earlier this month, BMI Healthcare announced a new alliance with medical professional network Doctors.net.uk to help raise awareness of its services.
