Boehringer Ingelheim helps vet group host Hounds for Heroes talk

31st March 2014

Boehringer Ingelheim has helped the George Veterinary Group in Wiltshire to organise a special talk by Allen Parton, the founder and vice-chairman of Hounds for Heroes.

Lucy Hayne, head veterinary nurse at the practice, won a prize draw held by Boehringer Ingelheim's Seraquin brand in order to earn the right to play host to the event on February 24th 2014.

It proved a great success, with more than 75 clients in attendance at the Memorial Hall in Royal Wootton Bassett. The George Veterinary Group received strong feedback following the talk.

Jason Vernon, marketing and resource manager at the George Veterinary Group, said: “Allen is an inspirational speaker and the evening event has already motivated some of the attendees to run fundraising initiatives for Hounds for Heroes. We would like to thank Seraquin for the opportunity to stage the evening."

This comes as part of a wider series of efforts to raise money for Hounds for Heroes via the Seraquin brand. It recently generated more than 50,000 pounds for the charity through an on-pack promotion and a series of UK educational seminars, with further fundraising activities planned throughout 2014.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801708148-ADNFCR
